What to expect from the 7 Days Morocco Imperial Cities Tour from Tangier
Today, we start our private Morocco tour and we depart to Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco. Upon arrival in the accommodation riad, free day to discover the medina. We will explore the souks and the famous square Hammam. We will enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the local riad.
Today, after breakfast we continue our private Morocco tour, and we depart towards Fez. We will visit the interesting archeological site of Volubilis. We will have a short tour in Meknes and we reach Fez which is considered Morocco’s most religious and cultural center. We will spend this night in a local riad or hotel.
After breakfast, we will start exploring Chefchaouen called “The blue city of Morocco”. Chefchaouen is a beautiful city, with its white-washed walls and blue doors and windows.
Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain; therefore there is much influence from the Spanish civilization and Moorish architecture. Then we drive to Fez where we stay overnight in the local riad.
Today we continue our private Morocco tour and we explore Fes interesting places such as Medersas -Koranic schools: Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin.
We explore the souk, Karaouine Mosque, and also the first university in the world. We will also visit leather tanneries. We stay overnight at a hotel in Medina.
Today, we will drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Along the way, we’ll visit Meknes, the smallest of the Moroccan imperial cities and a Unesco World Heritage Site. Our tour starts visiting the Bab Mansour Gate, then onward to the Royal Stables and the Jewish quarter. After lunch, we visit the city of Volubilis, the ancient Roman capital.
Then we continue to Rabat visiting the city including the Royal Palace, the Kasbah Ouadaya with its gardens, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Hassan Tower II. We stay for dinner and overnight in a riad in Rabat.
Today our private Morocco tour continues and we depart towards Casablanca where we visit the famous Hassan II mosque. Then we head to Marrakech where we will have a free program. We stay overnight in the local riad at the Medina.
Today our private Morocco tour finishes and we will have a guided tour of Marrakech Medina. We will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina and its souks, and we explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets – Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. And that will be the end of our tour.
