Our Story
Our story with travel goes back to many years of serving guest visitors whose quest is to experience the best of Morocco while avoiding the most touristic trails that most operators tend to offer.
We are a family-run local tour operator from the southeastern part of Morocco by the feet of the majestic sand dune field of Erg Chebbi. Our ancestors used to carry out a unique nomadic style of life that consists of moving from one place to another seeking water & pastureland to their camels, cattle & sheep.
Back in the seventieth, successive years of drought forced them to settle in palm oasis of Merzouga by the sand dunes. Agriculture was the alternative source of making a living despite it was harder because of water shortage.
When the Merzouga desert started to attract tourists from all over the world, our house was always open to welcoming & sharing our way of life with them.
Morocco Best Tours was launched back in 2013 as a local tour operator that offers bespoke Morocco tours, luxury experiences & excursions to the independent travelers. We offer a wide selection Morocco tours from Marrakech, desert tours from Fes, private Morocco tours from Casablanca, and Tangier.
